Can you get a ticket from a single traffic camera?

can you get a ticket from a single traffic camera running on red turning left? i was already in the middle of the intersection when the left arrow light turned redCan you get a ticket from a single traffic camera?
You aren't supposed to stop in the middle of the intersection so technically you did run a red light. Depending on your state and local laws you may have a chance to get out of it. The officer that issued the citation must be present on your court day. If he doesn't show up it can be thrown out.
Yes, you can get a ticket from a single traffic cam.

However, they look at the position of the car when the light turns red. If you were already in the intersection turning, they probably wouldn't ticket you. But if you were only just beginning to enter the intersection, they may say you should have stopped on the yellow and then ticket you.Can you get a ticket from a single traffic camera?
Red light camera tickets are big business for many cities and counties around the country. These cameras enforcement system are installed all in the name of increasing safety for the public. But this claim is not true. According to studies done by independent groups, automated red light enforcement systems reduce right angle accidents by 16%. However, these systems increase the rear end accidents by 20%. Therefore, there is really a net loss in the number of accidents. Many agencies do not even conduct before and after accident analysis to see if the red light camera enforcement system even reduced the accident rate mainly due to the fac that these agencies re only interested in the revenue they get from the red light camera enforcement system.

Hi,

Yes depending on the state. Not all states have a traffic camera for red lights

Best of luck ~Can you get a ticket from a single traffic camera?
guess you have to wait and see. as for me explaining how to handle this, I will not since that is not your question.
Yes, but you could take it to court and repeal it since you had already been in the intersection. You would most likely be good. Good Luck!!!
you can argue that you needed to clear the intersection while the light turned red.
No. Your fine. If all your tires are behind the white lines when the light turns red, and you go, that's considered running a red light. Your fine.
