Driving underage passangers with my previsional and traffic cameras in CA?

okay, here is what happened. I dont make it a practive to violate CA law, but I was out with this girl, and her ride was caught without gas, and she only lived a mile away, I didnt want to leave her on a street corner, so I agreed to drive her that mile.

Now, I was making a right turn, and the light just changed to a red arrow, I had no time to stop, a human cop would not have issued me a citation for this, it is understandable, but I think that I saw a flash from a traffic camera.

so, can they see that I have a passanger from the pictures that that takes, and if they can, can that count as catching me with an underage?Driving underage passangers with my previsional and traffic cameras in CA?
A traffic camera is to catch people who run the light. In most cases, the license plate is automatically scanned from the photos to issue the tickets. No human eye is looking for other violations, unless there was some other crime reported in the area and the photos might be helpful.

Your story illustrates why we have provisional licenses in CA. Underage drivers make poor decisions: Red arrows are preceded by yellow arrows. If you didn't have time to stop, you were going too fast. A human cop would give you a ticket.

Your friends predictament is no excuse for breaking the law either. A mile is only a 15 minute walk.

If you want to keep your driving privileges, start obeying the law.Driving underage passangers with my previsional and traffic cameras in CA?
I had no idea that there was an age limit for riding in a car. Driving it ,maybe.Driving underage passangers with my previsional and traffic cameras in CA?
The camera, most likely took a picture of your license plate, not you. You may get a ticket for running a red light, but for now that is to be seen. You will not get into trouble for having a passenger, unless you tell them you did.
Nah, probably not. Even if they see that you had a passenger, they have no way of knowing how old she is. It's not like they'd be looking for such things when they are going through the pictures anyway.
