Red traffic light cameras please help!!?

do red traffic light cameras also get u a tick for speeding??

cuz i was going 45 in a 40 does that count against me??Red traffic light cameras please help!!?
I've never heard of a red light camera that was equipped with radar to monitor the speed of traffic. Furthermore, the red light cameras are not constantly recording; they take still images of vehicles that run red lights.

Even if the red light camera did record your speed and obtain a picture of your license plate, you are very unlikely to receive a ticket for going only 5mph over the speed limit. Most police officers don't even pull you over unless you are going 8mph or more over the speed limit.

If you have lots of red light cameras in your area, or one in particular that bothers you, there are solutions. One is a clear license plate cover that does not affect the visibility of the plate to the naked eye, but distorts the plate when the camera takes a picture of it. Another solution is a spray that you put on the plate that is reflective so that when the camera flashes while taking the picture, the light reflects back to the camera and overexposes the image making the plate impossible to read.

Good luck.Red traffic light cameras please help!!?

I have not heard of any red light cameras that also monitor speed, although there is no reason that they could not do that.
