Recording axle length using traffic camera system?

Ok, so traffic camera systems use two "piazos" that record whenever a set of tires pass them. Once this happens, a timer clicks and records the exact time. Now, we all know that we can use those two sensors to determine the speed of the car.

The question is, can we use the two different speeds and the distance between the sensors to figure out the distance between the axles, no matter the situation? I know it can be done, but I just can't figure out how...

Any help would be appreciated!Recording axle length using traffic camera system?
Sure. You have 2 sensors a short distance apart, from them you can find the speed of the vehicle. When the rear axle hits the first sensor again, you record the time again. Knowing the speed, you can determine the distance between the axles. Now tell us why you need to know this, because that info seems useless to me.
