If it's a traffic camera then the rules are different.
I've gotten two and paid them but they are expensive ($181.50). If you don't want to pay it, just do nothing. The cameras have made everyone (including me) slow down on our freeways but the cameras are coming down in July.
I've heard that only about half of the people pay the tickets. If you received one of these tickets in the mail then it would have had a picture with it . Hang on to that so if someone appears at your door you can show the picture and prove it wasn't you driving.
I'm pretty sure you have to take some sort of online class. It happened to my dad and a family friend when we were all in Arizona for a vacation. I believe it takes like 3 hours or something and hey, it's just a waste of 3 hours compared to losing money over paying your ticket. What happens if I dont pay those traffic tickets for speeding from the traffic camera in Phoenix?
If you are an Arizona resident the state will suspend your driving license and list you as "wanted" in the national criminal database. If the police find you in Arizona you will be arrested and probably held in jail until trial.
If you are a resident of another state, Arizona list you as "wanted" in the national criminal database.and will ask your home state to suspend your driving license (they almost certainly will cooperate with AZ). You may be arrested if the police find you and then AZ will decide if paying the cost of extraditing you is worth it.
If you are from another country Arizona will list you as "wanted" in the national criminal database and you will be either deported or turned away the next time you try to enter the country.
Don't ignore the tickets.
Tent City Baby LOLWhat happens if I dont pay those traffic tickets for speeding from the traffic camera in Phoenix?
Your best way out is to go to a defensive driving class. It costs about as much as the ticket would but you won't get any points. Ignoring it isn't a good idea. If you get stopped for any reason they'll see the prior violation when they run your license and you'll be in twice as much trouble.
Spend some time googling it, theres a lot of info of how to get out of them.
