If I apply a coat of silver nitrate to my license plate, can my plate be "read" by a traffic camera?

I would like to know if a traffic camera took a picture of my plate with silver nitrate on it, would the number be "blocked out" in the picture the traffic camera takes. If I apply a coat of silver nitrate to my license plate, can my plate be "read" by a traffic camera?
Try it - then take a picture of your plate - if the picture comes out on your camera, odds are pretty good it will come out on the traffic camera also.If I apply a coat of silver nitrate to my license plate, can my plate be "read" by a traffic camera?
Try it and see what happens. (LOL) but i'm just not sure why you would want to unless you plan on breaking a law.If I apply a coat of silver nitrate to my license plate, can my plate be "read" by a traffic camera?
Any alteration of a number plate is technically illegal. I'm not sure what effect silver nitrate will have on your number plate.
The type of silver nitrate you're talking about is a clear liquid. I can't imagine it will make any difference in a traffic camera's ability to read your plate.
