Question for traffic attorney regarding a traffic camera citation while i was not operating the vehicle?

i received a traffic camera citation for not coming to a COMPLETE stop while making a right hand turn. i was not, however, driving the car. the ticket was made out in my name *only*, although it is registered to both my husband and me. it was my husband who was driving the car. so can i still claim non-responsibility since the ticket is in my name only %26amp; i was *not* driving the car?Question for traffic attorney regarding a traffic camera citation while i was not operating the vehicle?
Yes,sure..
Sure, all you have to do is tell them who was driving.Question for traffic attorney regarding a traffic camera citation while i was not operating the vehicle?
Unfortunately, you can't. But, you could potentially challenge the process here because ALL owners should be served with the citation. Your individual court will have very specific rules about this situation. You should consult with an attorney IN YOUR CITY.
You just have to tell the court your husband was driving the vehicle and they will issue the citation on him so he can have the points on his license and pay the fine. If you're not willing to do that, you will be stuck with the ticket.Question for traffic attorney regarding a traffic camera citation while i was not operating the vehicle?
yes so much for the 5th amendment, you are forced to incriminate yourself or be prosecuted for refusing to give details just try taking the fifth and see how your rights stand up
