What do you think about traffic cameras?

I think they are dangerous. Many people slam on breaks when they know they are around.
feels like an invasion of privacyWhat do you think about traffic cameras?
they work very well-they are only activated by the red lights noe dont run red lights how bright do you have to be to stop on red
in response to people slaming on their brakes

1. people shouldnt be speeding anyways, so they shouldnt need to do that

2. the people behind them should be far enough away anyway, in case the person in front of them were to slam on their brakes

but i think theyre a good idea, its a way of having less cops on the road, i dont know how theyre set to go off or anything, but i dont think they should ticket somebody for giong 5 mph, or something like that

they should be set for 11 mph over to go offWhat do you think about traffic cameras?
There's a couple of things I think about them. First, the only people who need to be worried about them are people who are breaking traffic laws. It is extremely rare that people get tickets if they did nothing wrong. Traffic laws are written in blood. If everyone obeyed every traffic law, there would be no crashes, no tickets, and no need for cameras. Second, they do not change driver behavior. All they do is generate money from it. California is nearly bankrupt. If the state can generate income with cameras from those among us who choose to endanger the rest of us by breaking traffic laws, then I am completely in favor of them.
