Do traffic light cameras catch you if you go through an amber light?

I was recently travelling through Nottingham, and came to a junction with a traffic light camera. I went these lights when they were on amber NOT red. I have to point out before anyone has a go at me, it was completely accidental, but I will still pay the fine or whatever if it caught me.

What I want to know is, does the camera flash when the lights are on amber or does it not flash you until it's turned red?Do traffic light cameras catch you if you go through an amber light?
No.

The law stipulates that you must stop at an amber light if there is no danger of a collision so basically if you can stop in time do stop but if you have to slam the brakes on and skid to stop it then you should carry on but no, the cameras round here don't flash you while they are on amber.
They can be set to snap on red, amber and even green for that matter.

Ours are set to snap photos on amber as well as red. So do be careful. I guess it depends on where you live and how they are set. They could be red where the poster have replied but in your area it could be amber like where I live.Do traffic light cameras catch you if you go through an amber light?
It only activates on red.
they shouldn't since it is not a violation to go through an amber light.Do traffic light cameras catch you if you go through an amber light?
As far as i know camera catch you only if you go at red light. The amer means only "attention". It's not recomended to go to amber light becouse red may activates in any moment.
are u in the united states??? in the US a camera will only get u once it turns red-at least in my area
In the US, the cameras won't catch you during the amber light. Under certain conditions they won't take pictures of vehicles turning on the red light.
