What is your opinion on cameras at traffic lights?

Charlotte was ticketed for turning right on red after stopping for 1.9 seconds. Apparently the law states that you must stop for a full 3.0 seconds. Now Charlotte has to pay $125. Dammit. :(What is your opinion on cameras at traffic lights?
KIA got one for speeding thru one and also has to pay around $125, i'd fight it, but in the photo, i'm clearly yapping on my cell..,.i feel like that is frowned upon
