Cameras on traffic lights, has anyone been caught by them?

Now I know they have been using cameras to catch people running red lights in new york for some time now, but I have been seeing cameras pop up all over in other areas of the country now too.



Am I the only one worried about this?



Has anyone had a ticket mailed to their house after they ran a red light?

Of course I haven't - Red lights mean stop - so I stop. That way I don't get 'caught' by the cameras that are there to safeguard the people who might get hit by idiots running red lights!!!!

Yes they do work, one flashed me once and it was bad because it changed from orange to red really quickly. I never attempt to go through them quickly anymore.



It is best as it can be dangerous if the public are trying to cross or something. What got me is my ex used to always jump the lights %26amp; never got done

we don't have any cameras here. but when we were travelling up through chicago, we had to pass a tollway and pay money, but we didn't. The camera took a picture of our license plate and they sent us a ticket through the mail.
