Do traffic cameras flash when you've been caught jumping a red light? And do they monitor speed as well?

Do the cameras not have to be painted yellow and have white lines on the ground in order to monitor speed along with red light jumping?Do traffic cameras flash when you've been caught jumping a red light? And do they monitor speed as well?
They do flash, don't monitor speed. In my area, they have been outlawed, unconstitutional.
I'm pretty sure the cameras don't monitor speed, but some intersections that take pictures also have a rolling video feed, so I'd imagine if you zoomed through, they could tell you were speeding (but I don't know if they could pursue it unless they had a speed detector too). Some cameras take your picture if you roll past the white line at a red light (even if you pull forward too much...sometimes) and some cameras take a picture of the intersection as soon as the light turns red in the hopes of catching a car in the middle of it.Do traffic cameras flash when you've been caught jumping a red light? Traffic cameras do flash, in order to make sure if its dark outside, that they still have your license number. I do not believe they monitor the speed. So if you go too fast for it or too slow for it to sense motion, you might get away with it. I don't recommend doing either one of those things though.

Sometimes I stand at one of our intersections where they have one of these, during the day, if i might add, and i see a flash and at first i don't know where it came from. Then i realize it was a camera. They give themselves away that way, too. Next time you can know where to jump and where not to.
Yes !!

I got a ticket .

This is dirty speed trick (dont pay fight it)

Road conditions are an acception to this ticket

sometimes its better for you

Yes, they flash day and night when they take your picture. That's how you know you got got.

New Mexico intersection cameras must have a sign and a rumble strip to warn motorists of the camera. Plus, you can see the cameras. Your state/country may differ.

Many cameras, monitor speed as well as red lights and turns.

Depends on how they are set up.
They don't monitor the speed, but take a wonderful picture of the vehicle, license plate, and a nice clear picture of the driver and mail it to you with your ticket...........
NO they don't monitor speed, but they do take pictures of the front of your car and back to get a picture of you and your license plate
they do flash, because they take a picture of the rear of the car in order to get the license number. They do not monitor speed though.
yes they do.....in our area u can fight these tickets at court in front of an arbitrator.....the legal aspect of this type of law inforcement (use of cameras) is still being debated in the house and senate
Yes they flash but only at night time when it is too dark to take a picture.
