some one to film or take our picture with out our permission ? Because the cops %26amp; government don't want us to film or take pictures of them so why is it ok for them to do that to us ?Do you ever notice traffic cameras on the street while driving ? isn't it a violation to our rights for?
Nope. Nowhere does the Constitution say you have a right to not have your picture taken. Additionally, since you're in public while driving, your right to privacy is considered waived by you.
You also have the right to film any public activity that the police and the government are taking part in.
Know this isn't what you want to hear but, there is no reason they should not. As long as you are not doing anything illegal, there is nothing they can hold on you. Anything you do in public, is open to public scrutiny. This acts as a deterrent for many people to drive safer and to use their seat belts. Seriously, They are only doing this to help protect people. The police don't mind getting their pics taken; not as far as I know anyway. Did you hear about the man that drove by the Courthouse and when his picture was taken he got upset because he know he wasn't speeding. He circled it again, driving even slower, and had it taken again. This really upset him because he KNEW he wasn't speeding. He circled once again and when the camera got his picture he decided to take it to court and fight it. He was looking forward to this. When he got the tickets, it was for not wearing his seat belt!!Do you ever notice traffic cameras on the street while driving ? isn't it a violation to our rights for?
Because they are the cops and government, they have a right to patrol the streets and make them safe. The department of Traffic and Highway Safety does what they can in order to make our streets safer to travel on.
By living in the U.S., you live under the assumption that some your personal liberties will be sacrificed for the greater good.
Besides, as long as you're not running red lights, the worst they'll catch you doing is picking your nose.
It's not like a Big Brother thing, it's more like a Saving Lives thing.
When you're in a public place you have no expectation of privacy, so no, it's not a violation of any rights.Do you ever notice traffic cameras on the street while driving ? isn't it a violation to our rights for?
no violation of my rights -i prefer to have the documented proof of accidents, etc. talk to your city councilman for your issues.
