Are traffic light cameras positioned on the opposite side of the road or behind you before the light.?

Its just im not sure if i went through a red light the other day. but the camera was on the other side of the road facing in the other direction. This was 2 weeks ago. am i safeAre traffic light cameras positioned on the opposite side of the road or behind you before the light.?
in Missouri, they are on the same pole as the light. Among other views, they snap a pix of the drivers face. Are traffic light cameras positioned on the opposite side of the road or behind you before the light.?
The camera you saw was the one watching the lane going the opposite direction.

The camera that took your picture (more than likely) is positioned behind the red light (behind your car) so they can snap a shot of your license plate number.

If it's been two weeks, then you might be okay. The tickets usually come in the mail within two to three weeks. If nothing shows up in a month or so, I'd say the police lost the picture somewhere. But that isn't promising they won't find it two years from now. That happened to my mom...Are traffic light cameras positioned on the opposite side of the road or behind you before the light.?
the camera is on the opposite side of the road you will be in some trouble if the camera took a picture.
