What do red traffic light cameras look like?

i may have gone thorugh a red light, there wasnt a big grey camera on a pole, but there was a small cctv like one on the top of the light? is that a red light cameraWhat do red traffic light cameras look like?
No. Those are not red light cameras. Here's something to think about. If they place a camera on top of the light in the middle of the intersection, how is it going to get a picture of your license plate and the red light as you go through the intersection? Red light cameras sit about 100' or so back from the intersection, so when you do run a red light it can snap a picture of your license plate and the light. What do red traffic light cameras look like?
no the small black cctv alike ones on top of the lights are just sensors, the cameras to actually catch red light runners are as you would av guessed small grey box pointing by the stop line where underground sensors are built after the stop line which activate when the light's on red then it set's it off if it senses a vehicle passing it

the cameras are on a pole but they're smaller than the standard speed cameras (gatso, truvelo etc) and they're normally a grey or black colour rather than yellow so i would av thought u havent been caught so count yourself lucky but just be more careful in futureWhat do red traffic light cameras look like?
no i dont think they are, i think these are "red runners" : http://www.clearlicence.co.uk/speed_trap鈥?/a>
