To all the cops regarding traffic light cameras?

In your opinion, is it

a. better to run a yellow/turning red light knowing you will most likely get a ticket

or

b. slam on your brakes because you don't want a ticket since you know the yellow light turns too fast, and risk somebody rear ending you.

I'm just curious. Which one has the least liability? To all the cops regarding traffic light cameras?
Technically if you slam on your breaks to avoid running a red light and you get rear-ended you aren't at fault. The person behind you would be at fault for following too closely, since you had a valid reason to come to a stop.To all the cops regarding traffic light cameras?
im not a cop but when it turns yellow you need to step on it to save time if anything, cops are rarely going to see you do that.To all the cops regarding traffic light cameras?
The totality of the circumstances says it's the latter, profit some how imposes on logic.
