I heard about cameras that are triggerd to take a picture of your plate if you are speeding. Then you get a speeding ticket in the mail. Is this leagal?Are traffic ticket cameras legal?
Yes these cameras are legal.
Ours will also take an identifying picture of the driver, in case you try to say that "I wasn't driving the car".
Ours also posts the radar readout on the bottom of the photographs.

It seems so since the police are issuing tickets via the traffic cameras and so far no court I know of has objected or declared them unconstitutional.
We wouldn't be using them if they weren't legal.
