ok so recently i was in a car with my friends and the guy next to me was really confusing to understand because he was giving me directions. so i was really stressing trying to understand him and before i knew it i was approaching a red light and for sum reason it didnt come to my mind to stop.the light turned green for opposing traffic, and i was really close to getting hit by the other traffic. I saw the camera on the street but it didnt flash. does that mean i dont get a ticket becausei really did not cross it when it "Turned REd". i crossed it while the other street light turned green. so now im confused. also i would get into alot of trouble becaue at that time i was supposed to be in skool and i was wit a guy so my parents would KILL me ! Don't worry until you have to. If they send you a ticket, then you can worry. Until then, assume that they won't.
If you ran a red light and there was functioning camera then you'll have been recorded unless it's in one of the places that have recently turned their traffic cameras off (Oxford and Swindon in the UK). Newer digital cameras don't necessarily flash to take your picture.Need Help Understanding the traffic light street cameras!?

If that light has a sign that says "Photo Enforced" then you have a nice little civil citation coming your way in about a week or two..
