I was driving tonight picking a friend up in NW washington dc right by the monument at 15th and constitution. I was in the left turning lane and there was no sign that said 'no left turn" or anything.(plus it was a one way street anyway) and i was turning on green and WAM! Flashing of the camera. I am quite confused and id rather not have to fight this in court.A traffic light camera took my picture when turning left on green. why?
Maybe it was taking a shot of someone else??

Sometimes on some corners i see one flashing all the time, when the light is green, when there are no cars there at all, Just every few seconds. They don't all do this, just a couple, and if they were defective I would think they would have been repaired sometimes over the several months I seen them going off.
