What happens when you run a red light with a traffic cam?

I was driving at the speed limit. the light was yellow but turned red right before i reached the line so i was going too fast to stop in time. i slammed on my brakes but ended up in the middle of the interesection. the traffic was just starting to move so i didnt get into an accident and got out. there were two cameras mounted on traffic lights facing each road. not the ones that take pictures with a flash.

so what is going to happen? are the police going to track me down to my house?What happens when you run a red light with a traffic cam?
Sounds like there is no "flash" at that intersection. You're in luck then. The cameras may work, but only for accidents or something like that. The photo enforced intersections will snap a pic of your car, and send a ticket to you in the mail. You should be ok this time!
You probably watch too much TV and believe half the stuff you see there. The chance that anyone was actually looking at the video when you went thru the red light is practically nil, and even if someone saw you they wouldn't be able to make out the license plate - the resolution's not that good on these things. I got caught in Germany several times by the kind of cameras that DO have very good resolution - they record your license plate quite nicely, and usually, you can tell it was you driving the vehicle, as well!!! Luckily, they aren't always working, or I'd have alot more tickets.What happens when you run a red light with a traffic cam?
They send a ticket or court summons to the address linked to your drivers license.

Question: If the light was yellow, why were you still continuing to do the speed limit, yellow means slow down. If the light TURNS yellow when you are within 100-50 ft (depending on speed) then you have enough time to make it through the intersection.
In the middle of the night, the traffic camera thugs are gonna come to your house. First they will TP the whole place. Then they will grab you and stick your head in the microwave on fufll power until you fess and pay up.

Worst case you may receive a violation in the mail for running a red light, no the police will not come knocking on you door, unless of course you do get a ticket and dont pay it.

if you dont see a flash, you should be good. Those are just traffic cams, not red light cams.
