For instance, you are doing the speed limit of 50 mph, and the light turns yellow just as you get to the line. There is no way you can stop without being in the middle of the intersection, and throwing yourself and your passengers forward.Do you think traffic light cameras are fair?
yellow means stop if you safely can. if you can't stop without almost smacking your head on the dashboard and steer wheeling than you keep going but carefully.
I think they're fair and they do help police catch bad drivers.
ive always wanted to moon one of thoseDo you think traffic light cameras are fair?
yes they are only for our protection...they seem dumb but they can help
noDo you think traffic light cameras are fair?
well ya. they r fair... if police dont c if happening who else will bring justice... ya know?
Nope...just some more examplesof Bush liberties
in that case, you shouldn't be caught by the camera.
no they r bull. some have a continuous flash which scares the heck out of me.
I had a cement truck lead me through a red light.
The cement truck said, "Follow me"
I said,"Who is following, who is leading"
I just paid my bill and walked out of there.
i think they are good
its not like you should be doing anything bad while driving
they are stupid..but it allows the city to get some extra money and if i comes to it, i would rather just get a ticket than deal with a cop......
I think they are great safety features. Especially during an accident or hit and run when some one doesn't tell the truth. People seem to be in a hurry to get nowhere anymore.
Yes, I think it's a good idea for major intersections where people always run red lights. You won't get a ticket if the light is yellow as you are going through.
Yes, Too Many People are 'Running' Red Lights, Seconds After the light is Red; It's Really Dangerous Now, Even When You Have a Green Light....!!
if your tires hits the intersection before the light turns red it's not considered running a red light, and therefore you won't be photographed and ticketed. there are sensors at the line. so yes, i think the cameras are fair.
depends, if you know some who was in an acident from a speeder then you'd be all for it(a girl was assaulted where i'm from and they would'n't have found out who attaked her if it wasn't for those cameras)...but sometimes i do want them gone
they're retarded.
Traffic light cameras are supposed to be set to go off if your front tires go into the intersection after the light turns red.
Speed cameras are often not calibrated correctly. When I lived in Melbourne, Australia there was a huge uproar about tickets being sent out when cameras were calibrated to record the correct speed. Hundreds of refunds had to be sent out as a result.
Nope. You can get a ticket in the mail even if you weren't driving the car, because that car is registered to you.
If you are driving in a manner that makes you unable to control your vehicle well enough to stop at a red light, you might consider taking the bus.
Are traffic cameras fair? Do you mean is it fair if you get caught with photographic evidence committing traffic offenses? Of course it is.
The system is not out to get you. They just got sick and tired of you plowing into the side of minivans proceeding lawfully through green lights and killing children.
I understand that driving is just a fun sport to you, but some of us actually understand the reasons for driving safely. If you refuse to do so, I sincerely hope you get caught every time.
yes they are to protect people like you
No ... I don't think they are fair .... they put like 240 pounds on to my cars weight.
I'm all for them! They should also have them at every stop sign. Hardly anyone stops when they are supposed to, anymore. Then, when they kill someone as a result, they are charged with manslaughter. Maybe a few more traffic tickets would reverse this trend and fewer lives would be lost or ruined.
