Red light cameras or are they the sensor cameras for cops, fire trucks, etc for an emergency to sense for carsAt intersections in my city above each traffic light there are these small gray/white cameras , are these the?
If cameras not sensor cameras. But may be infrared sensors that receive coded signals from emergency vehicles to change the light. You can tell if they are because a steady light goes on next to the sensor when a emergency vehicle is sending a change light signal.

Might just be traffic monitoring cameras. Allows a central station to monitor traffic flow.

If red light cameras mounted nearby will be a strobe type light to help take picture, both vid %26amp; still, when a light changes. At intersections in my city above each traffic light there are these small gray/white cameras , are these the?
Those are most likely sensors for emergency vehicles. They typically detect red light from emergency light bars.
